My dear dear dear friend, you would never guess I was talking about you.
I wrote a poem.
Love you, so there.
The Cows You've Known So Well
Look here
You are covered
You go to the farm and catch the cows
You know who you'll pick
You know who you can catch
You know who would be the tastiest
Because you've been with them for so long
Every one of them fears you
You have been with them for years
Yet they know what you've done to the others
You've told about them
Even though you'd raised them by hand
Even though you've been their friend
You know their weakness
They irritate you
You cannot stop
You just tell on them to others
Sometimes they fall
Sometimes they fall and you laugh
Because they irritate you
It makes you happy
Your sad sad soul
It makes you happy
Because the cows would never
Know what you are thinking
The next day it might be
Their turn to be slaughtered
They are insecure
As you come to the farm
They may think it's you with the food again
Or maybe not
They may think they're your friend
But are they?
You've spend so much time with them
Would you turn around suddenly
And start telling on them too
Till their heads are rolling
And they're beef stew in the farm houses
Because she was your friend once too
Would you do that to me?
And they worry
And do they worry
Who's going to be next.
